Honey Brazilian Pepper

Brazilian Pepper Honey comes from Brazilian Pepper Trees that are widely growing in Southwest Florida. These trees produce white flowers and red berries from September till the end of October. The Brazilian Pepper is not a true pepper plant; however, besides its ornamental use, the berries produced have a spice like taste to them giving the honey a unique spicy taste. In many countries, the Brazilian Pepper Tree itself is widely used for various health conditions such as sexually transmitted diseases, eye infections, gout, rheumatism, sores, swelling, tuberculosis, ulcers, and wounds. Since the Brazilian Pepper Tree Honey carries some of the same benefits; it is promoted in use for cold symptoms and upper respiratory disorders.
